About
Dragonfly Family Counseling was established in 2021 by me, Melody Miller-Hufstedler. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and provide individual, couple, and family counseling to New Palestine and surrounding communities.
When I decided to establish my own practice, the image of a Dragonfly came to mind. Dragonflies represent change and transformation, wisdom and light, and emotional growth. This image captured my desire to live a life of authenticity, harmony, and joy. I strive to bring these values into my life and practice.
I live and work in the New Palestine community, and find it to be a happy slice of life well-suited to raising families. I am married and have 3 kids together with my partner. We have 3 mini dachshunds, chickens, and a cat. After work hours, we enjoy spending time reading, watching movies, playing outside, and playing games or doing puzzles.
Not all therapists are the same and one therapist can't help every client. I do my best to make sure we are a good fit going forward. If you feel like we would work well together, reach out and set up an appointment, or ask for a consult.
